Day 3

Breakfast: That unappetizing-looking stuff was actually a pretty tasty cabbage soup, made with beef, onion and pasta. Leftovers make for fine breakfasts, thankyouverymuch. Also note the omnipresent cup of coffee.

Lunch: I used some crazy thin bread that my mom left in our fridge to make a sandwich. It is made of ground-up sticks and walnut hulls. Very good for you! Filling: Avocado, gouda, lettuce, tomato, and peppers, with mayo and honey mustard. Pickle spear and a ripe peach on the side.

I was very hungry when dinnertime rolled around. My husband did a booty dance in the kitchen while he was cooking the burgers. He didn't realize I had my camera handy.

Isn't he cute?

While I waited, I ate some raw almonds. They're tasty.

Dinner: GIANT hamburger patties (I took the smallest one and it was still around 6 oz) on buns with the usual fixin's. Baked tots and some Ranier cherries on the side.

Hubby sneaked off at the store and when he returned, these had mysteriously appeared in his shopping cart. I frowned mightily at him, but he insisted on giving them a good home. This one currently resides in my belly. Dessert: (1) Snickers Ice Cream bar, 180 calories.

Where the heck did this glass of wine come from? I don't know! It must be MYSTERY WINE.

.. okay, fine, it's not a mystery. It's mommy's nerd wine. She needs it for her dps or whatever.
